THE TRUTH ABOUT BICHONS, ALLERGIES & ASTHMA

SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE INFORMATION

The simple fact is, the Bichon Frise is less likely  than some other breeds to trigger an adverse reaction in sufferers of allergies and asthma but some people will always be allergic to dogs.

If this could apply to you, Best Bichons would always strongly suggest you spend as much time as possible with the puppy and the parents of the puppy before you buy one. Any reputable breeder would encourage this.

If you are prone to allegies or are still unsure, return home and wait for at least 24hrs before making the commitment to buying the puppy. This is to see if, being around the dogs triggers any adverse reaction.  You may feel fine whilst with the dogs, but a reaction may come a day or so later. It is important to get this right before you take your new puppy home.

In particular, check out the "Asthma & Your Dog" online leaftlet. Far too many people selling the Bichon Frise say things like " Perfect for allergy and asthma sufferers"
